Equipment lubrication safety management in petrochemical enterprises

图片1

Lubrication management is one of the basic conditions to ensure the normal operation of rotating equipment. According to incomplete statistics, the petrochemical and chemical industries have many equipment accidents (faults) every year due to poor lubrication management, insufficient lubrication, and improper use of oil products. Direct and indirect losses account for the benefits. 0.01% or more. Improper or missing lubrication caused by unclear understanding and neglect is the main cause of equipment accidents

one.

Lubricating oil is the blood of the equipment. A piece of equipment may consist of thousands of parts. With one kind of lubricating oil, if one component fails, only one component needs to be replaced, but the failure of the lubricant may lead to the failure of the entire equipment.

Lubrication creates wealth, effective lubrication management can significantly reduce the failure rate of equipment. The Japan Machinery Promotion Association conducted a survey and statistical analysis of 645 failures due to 14 reasons for machines, of which 166 were due to poor lubrication, accounting for 25.7%; improper lubrication methods There are 92 times, accounting for 14.3%, that is, the failure of factors related to lubrication reaches 40% (Japan).

The professional management of rotating equipment involves all aspects of the entire life cycle of the equipment, maintenance, renovation, update and scrap management to achieve the ideal goal of the most economical equipment life cycle cost and the highest comprehensive equipment production capacity. It mainly includes the preliminary management of rotating equipment, operation and maintenance of rotating equipment management, maintenance process quality control management, rotating equipment renovation and scrapping management and other links.

There are four elements in the safety management of petrochemical equipment: safety, reliability, greenness and efficiency. In terms of basic management, the criticality of rotating equipment is quantitatively evaluated to guide experts in the formulation of analysis strategies, risk assessment strategies, and inspection and maintenance strategies.

Lubricating oil is an important part of equipment, and the failure of equipment lubrication will cause all moving parts to fail!

A high-power diesel engine has hundreds of parts that need to be lubricated

Case study

Maanshan Iron and Steel No. 1 Cold Rolling Steel Plant carried out oil monitoring, strengthened pollution control, and reduced spare parts consumption

Oil monitoring: Since January 2007, the equipment oil monitoring work has been carried out, including rolling mill hydraulic system, motor lubrication system, gear lubrication system, and roll oil film bearings, a total of 32 sets/sets.

The monitoring items are: viscosity, moisture, total acid value, water separability, pollution degree, spectrum, ferrogram.

Monitoring effect:

According to the information provided by the oil monitoring report, the management personnel of the cold rolling equipment have made continuous efforts in the pollution control of the oil used in the equipment, and achieved good results

85% of the hydraulic oil and turbine oil samples, pollution level NAS level, controlled below level 7

70% of the gear oil and oil film bearing oil samples, the pollution level NAS level is controlled below level 12.

Through the development of oil monitoring and strengthening of pollution control, the reliability of equipment has been significantly improved, and there have been few failures related to lubrication and wear in the past three years. According to the on-site engineer of No. 1 Steel Rolling and Cold Rolling, some spare parts such as pumps and valves purchased 2 years ago are still in stock. The relevant personnel of Maanshan Iron and Steel’s purchasing department have "complained" that they are running out of spare parts.
